During the year 2000, Bob & Lynn McClurg fulfilled Bob's longtime dream of building a log home, on the site of what was formerly a farm, near Lake Wilhelm in northwestern Pennsylvania, and originally part of Donation Land #913 in Mercer County, which was donated by the government to a soldier for his service during the war. After sitting unused for about 20 years, we have returned the land to its previous purpose - farming, but of a different sort - alpacas!

With over 30 years of experience, Bob also breeds and trains "McClurg's Hemlockpatch Beagles," more recently concentrating on the Patch Hound line of breeding - a faster speed of dog, and taller for hunting hare in the snow. Along with our llama and alpacas, five beagles, and our greeter, Sienna - a Vizsla (Hungarian Pointer), shown below, make up the rest of our "animal family."
