Mirra is the third cria on the ground for award winning herdsire, Crescent Moon's Roulette, and his first to be born on our farm! Morning Sky's Roulette's Mirra is a mirror image of her award winning sire, even down to the lip markings of both Roulette and his sire, Rayo del Sol. Mirra also boasts 4P Legacy, Accoyo Odyssey, Vengador, Accoyo Godfather, Danko, and Caballero Andante in her pedigree, making her 1/4 Accoyo as well! Light brown with a white face (and just a hint of grey), Mirra has very square conformation, a good bite, tiny crimp with structure reminiscent of Roulette's award winning fleece (shown in his photos), and nice staple length. Credit also goes to her 1/2 Accoyo fawn dam, Morning SKY's Eliana, whose soft, gorgeous yarn made the mill ask what we do special to cause her fleece to make the yarn so stunning. (The answer was "nothing"; it's in the genes!)

She's a healthy, lovely, full Peruvian and 1/4 Accoyo girl of our first born, Quelle Surprise. And, in the tradition of her dam's French name, she was named Morning Sky's Tres Magnifique - meaning very magnificent/gorgeous/ beautiful. She is also sweet and handles easily. Her medium fawn fleece has a lovely crimp, great staple length, and a very soft handle. This, the result of the fine fleece of her dam - a Silverado daughter, coupled with the fineness and density of her 1/2 Accoyo, award winning sire, Black Peruvian Royal Forest - a Royal Fawn son. Entering the world at a record (for our farm) 23#, (not something we necessarily advocate, but also not something that we could have changed), Magnifique was extremely strong, even an hour and a half after being born. Her birth was unassisted, and nursing skills came easily - things that you'd desire with every birth - traditional of her line. "Maggie's" only bad habit is trying to dip her toes into the water buckets - easily corrected by hanging the buckets just a little higher! : )

We hoped for a male, and we got one! Morning SKY's Paulina's Piper 11 is the first offspring of Paulina and multiple Champion sire, Annual's Bea-2 Bomber (an Aussie .38 son.) Piper has calm temperament and is easily handled. Since his micron is just a little stronger than our normal herdsire standard, he is being sold as a fiber male in a highly desirable color - grey! And, he's a sweet boy, too!
